A perfect Valentine exchange! This year we made a pact: he would finally finish painting the big cinderblock wall that I started 3 years ago and never got more than halfway on, and I would weed and mulch the bed around the AC units for him, which is knee-hi in grass. We're both over the moon about it!
OzJane - I tried carrot and sweet potatoe cake because that is what we had on hand - my husband loved it, even though he doesn't really care for sweet potatoes, hehehehe
I love these gifts, they mean so much more than gifts that your Valentine feels compelled to buy for you, because of how commercialized these "holidays" have become.
Beautiful and I'm sure you had a Happy Valentine's Day <3
ReplyDeleteI did - thanks Joyful!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely gifts - a cottage garden posy and a scrumptious cake!
