One gals thoughts on marriage, ministry, green living, and helping children in crisis
Beautiful and I'm sure you had a Happy Valentine's Day <3
I did - thanks Joyful!
What lovely gifts - a cottage garden posy and a scrumptious cake!
Oh how lovely! :-)
A perfect Valentine exchange! This year we made a pact: he would finally finish painting the big cinderblock wall that I started 3 years ago and never got more than halfway on, and I would weed and mulch the bed around the AC units for him, which is knee-hi in grass. We're both over the moon about it!
Hill Country Hippie - now that is a perfect Valentine's pact - I love it!
Lovely cake and the flowers are stunning. Well done.
Have never tried carrot and sweet potato......that sounds yummy and flowers are always special.
Lovely, happy Valentines Day :) (belated I know!)
AWWWW shucks! :)
Nothing says how much you care than giving a labor of love! That sounds like a beautiful Valentine's Day.
OzJane - I tried carrot and sweet potatoe cake because that is what we had on hand - my husband loved it, even though he doesn't really care for sweet potatoes, hehehehe
I love these gifts, they mean so much more than gifts that your Valentine feels compelled to buy for you, because of how commercialized these "holidays" have become.
Shelly - I agree! And it helps that I actually do like wildflowers more than store-bought flowers :)
