I have the same advice as the other posts, hang up anything silver that you can think of! You can also try bird netting on certain trees/areas that you're worried about. Even net curtains would work. You could lay that over the soil until the seeds have sprouted.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12874273438983052621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6180355242417922484.post-2021824563129126422011-03-17T17:27:32.959-07:002011-03-17T17:27:32.959-07:00Hi there, you could also try dangling old tin cans...Hi there, you could also try dangling old tin cans tied up with rope, They can be shiny and noisy and also look quite pretty and rustic as they age.... I'm sure there are more things that can be used. You could string them together and hang them from trees, might be pretty, too.Mama Rachaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03534245701379707268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6180355242417922484.post-61024233107843079142011-03-17T16:38:24.306-07:002011-03-17T16:38:24.306-07:00Oh dear ... The sunlight reflecting off them makes it difficult for the birds to land. The more silver they are the better. There will be a few cunning ones who's greed makes them find a different route to the garden but you should have less seed/plant losses.RobynLouisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08050372484207822842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6180355242417922484.post-44546584678821168932011-03-17T15:33:13.596-07:002011-03-17T15:33:13.596-07:00Becky - that is a really good tip - I will try tha...Becky - that is a really good tip - I will try that!
